Chester

Chester

I got another old roll developed today that happened to be from around this time last year.
This is my boyfriends cat, Chester. He's about 17 or 18 now, skin and bones (surprised you can't really tell from this photo) and he is surprisingly still alive and kicking.

I just really enjoy this photo, the colors are perfect.

I've been meaning to shoot film more than digital. Truthfully, I haven't been doing much of either.. Just taking my silly lomo cameras with me snapping barely memorable moments, just taking pictures for the sake of finishing up the roll.
I actually have a box that has at least 50 rolls finished. I've made the mistake of throwing a roll in the box once I finish, so they're all sort of a mystery to me now. Today I finally had the extra cash to start sorting through and having these surprise rolls developed. Unfortunately both rolls I got developed were a year+ old, but it was a nice reminder of those times.

I wanted to use this to introduce as my first photo of my 365 project, but I chose against it.. I'm not quite ready t be committed yet. Give me some time to gather my thoughts and my self so I can be fully ready to commit to this huge project. I know I will feel so fufilled and proud in the end, but I am not ready for that jump yet. soon.

Plus technically Ben took this. His finger was on the button. I put it on the settings I wanted, positioned him, and edited it. So a team photo if you will.

an introduction of sorts;

an introduction of sorts;

Meet the absolute love of my life, Jenna <3
My old old Aussie (Australian Shepherd). She's within the middle of her breed's expected lifespan (13 years old) and I am so happy I got to take a few photos of her today and play in the snow before I left for me day. I love her like no other <3
Isn't she beautiful?!

Any ways, happy first day of spring! and I am STILL attempting to post on here, hah.
