Nooooo!!!!
I thought i was going to pass out of anger when i watched this game today!
So a couple of questions:
Who are you rooting for? (me brazil..tomorrow, woot woot!)
What channel do u watch the games on? (Me, Univision. . nothing like it! It rocks!)
Do you get cell phone updates on scores, if so, who do you use?!

I'm rooting for Mexico, hands down. I want the US to do well, but am not heartbroken over this loss.
I watch the games on Univision. I heard yesterday that the English language commentary for the Mexico vs. Iran game sucked and that the announcers kept making it all political. My Iraqi friend and his family switched over to Univision because they were tired of hearing that the US should go in to Iran (his family fled Iraq and lived in Iran for several years).
No cell phone updates.

I'm rooting for Mexico, Argentina, and really, all of Latino America. I am was disapointed by the US loss, because I honestly thought they were up to par with the Czechs, pero nope. So, vamos haber como hacen contra los Italianos.
Soccer should never be political. The whole point of the World Cup is to bring the world together under one powerful, skillful game. Esas son pendejadas--if you ask me...ESPN's commentary is fucking lame and boring.
Real soccer fans know it's Univision all the way.
No cell phone updates, pero I do have gCal updates.

Has to be Mexico and Argentina. Of course, I want the U.S. to do well too, but after they're spanking this morning that won't be possible. I agree with EMC, there is no need for politics in this sport.

That was horrible today. Somebody should teach our (the USA) players how to play that game. Univision rocks!

I would first have to choose Arg. before Mexico, (sorry) and I will cry if we ever have to play each other.
It has gotten political between Argentina and England in the past, (anyone remember the Buenos Aires riots in 2002?)
but I think the whole of Latin America feels like one of us's got to win.
It would be nice if it was someone other than Brazil, again.

Futbol/Football/Soccer is really the world's largest cultural exchange. You're connected once every four year to your tribe - wherever they may live. The reality is that El Tri is this country's (US) biggest national team and I'm proud to be one of her most loyal supporters. Plus, knowing that the US team doesn't like Mexico and Mexicans, I say f them - they're all hype.
Mexico! Mexico! Ra! Ra! Ra!

The USA has very little chance of qualifying, they were put in the 'group of death', and were doomed almost from the beginning. The Czechs are really good, one of the top teams in the world cup, then we play Italy, so we have very little chance of making it out.
But I was still disappointed to see them lose and was still hoping for a miracle or something. :-)
As far as who I am rooting for, I am rooting for Mexico, Latin America and the USA. Probably in that order, mainly because Soccer really doesn't mean much here in the USA as it does in Mexico and Latin America.

Mexico to win, USA to score at least a little respect.
Puro Univision, Baby!
