This was taken a bit before 'sunrise', was pretty dark. Been done many times before by other photographers (and much better) but what the heck! Boosted the 'blues' in post for a bit of mood too.......... best of a bad job : )

Decided to head out for a 'sunrise' this morning......... didn't see the 'sun' until 10:00am back at home!
Thought Old Hartley would line up ok for sunrise but tide was too far in. Thought I might have got a nice bit of side light from the causeway, but it didn't really get light : )
I do like the pre-dawn blues though

I popped out last night to try and get a couple of pics of the big marine crane (just hiding in the background behind the houses to the right). It looks a great bit of kit, especially when lit up at night. Unfortunately i couldn't find a good vantage point so had to settle with a shot of the Headland. Also no signs of any meteorites either : (
I do like the 17-55 lens for night time pics, produces great star bursts and is pin sharp!

First time out in a while....... nothing exciting though, overcast and grey
