C-Towner's photostream  

I have been driving by this church for years and years and this is the first time I have taken a photo of it. The light has never been right, or I didn't have my camera, or who knows how many other reasons. Well, I finally did stop to take a few photos and boy am I glad I did!

The light was perfect, the sky a great blue, with just a few wispy clouds to make it interesting, and I was treated with this one as my very first shot.

This is a small church (at least by the standards of some of the HUGE churches in the greater Cleveland area), but I always enjoyed the tasteful yet utilitarian stonework. Its not flashy, but I like it.

The church finished construction in 1928, designed by J.W. Christford, an architect from Lakewood, and it is of the Tudor Gothic countryside type, according to some information I was able to find from the Lakewood Public Library.

I stopped by Rocky River park last night and boy was it windy! A bit too windy for any long exposure shots of the water (which was my intention), but I was treated to this view from the beach of this house that I can only wish that I lived in!

I wanted to include the staggering amount of driftwood on the beach, because it was positively covered in it.

I took this one last summer, took forever to process it, and it is one that I kept waffling back and forth on whether or not I should post it, if it was processed well enough, etc. I finally uploaded it to flickr a while back, and then let it sit before making it public just because I still wasn't sure about it.

I'm still not sure, but I decided to finally just make it public and finally stop worrying about it!

Taken at one of my favorite spots in downtown Cleveland, of the Mather (a fine steamship that is now permanently moored).

This is a shot from the Kelby Worldwide Photowalk from back in October. This was one that got uploaded to flickr but got set aside and never made public until I remembered it recently!

I love the huge way the sky looks with UWA lenses. No shortage of clouds on that day, thats for sure. This was taken in the Powerhouse parking lot.

I felt that the reflections in the water of the rocks from the breakwall is what made this shot stand out. The sunset made for some really amazing colors that day.
