week 31 of the 52 written by Nobel Prize winning author Gabriel García Márquez, and I am sure loved by many. I started the book in April. Stopped, started, stopped, started and four months later finally finished it. It is beautifully written and overwhelmingly romantic. I apparently am not the latter. Sad, heh? I couldn’t see past much of the lead characters’ atrocious behavior and didn’t feel very sorry for them in their tangle of loves. My copy of the book has a rose on the front, so this week’s photo is in celebration of my finally finishing this sad book about love found, kindled, tested, taken for granted, lost, suffered, mourned, coveted, scoffed, reborn and finally cherished. OK – now back to sociologists’ ramblings, crime stories and medical thrillers. :) Commentsmulletgod

I started reading One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez but never finished it (yet). I think I still have it around somewhere and you just made me think about it...I think I may start it again when I finish reading the books I'm currently reading...
Ah and very nice shot :)
