I've been helping with volunteer event photography for the MS Society of MN for a couple of years. And each event brings a mixture of smiles and moving moments. This image was captured at the finish line of the MS Walk held last summer at Como Park. Their faces say it all!

I've been doing a lot of photography but I am behind with my postings to this site. Here is another image from the show after the Pine City Rodeo.. I almost deleted this when I first reviewed my shots. But something about it resonated with me. And I'm finding myself being more open about a wider range of images lately.

Last Sunday I was gone to the Pine City Rodeo from 3 pm till Midnight. The Rodeo started at 6PM and the lighting was terrible. But the people were very nice and the atmosphere was delightful.I loved when the young kids were hanging on for dear life while they tried to ride sheep bearback. Afterwards national country recording artist Rockie Lynne performed with a band and full lightshow. His chart topping single "We want to Thank You" was written to honor Vietnam Vets. And he even called my friend I was shooting with up onto the stage with him for an emotional and moving tribute. The stage was dripping with light and color. And I had a wonderful time getting my first experience capturing the incredible mix of stagelight while shooting the performance with available light.
