i don't even know what to say about this. my lecturer actually liked this set of images, which was a bloody miracle considering he thinks "anyone could take [my] images". i feel so dispirited and demotivated. i try and convince myself i'm doing this for me, but i need approval. goddamnit.

i haven't taken any self portraits in what feels like forever. i'm always dissatisfied with them, but this morning was a good day. this was the second shot i took, and it made me feel good.
head and shoulders shots are probably all you'll ever see of me. i'm too shy and awkward to go outside and take the things that everyone else does.
