Note: Use a length of about 20 inch string for knotting. I used two colour strings for demo only.

1. Try to ensure that the top of the string always in the middle so that you don't end up having one end longer than the other halfway through knotting. You can also clip a safety pin at the top.
2. Take a and make a loop on top of it. (loop 1)
