widow

The spider was spinning her web
Hanging from the roof down beside the shed.
    It started with a line
    Which was really fine.

    The spider tried her best
To make her home to rest.
    She waits in the day
For the night to catch its prey.

    A fly past the shed
And got caught In the web.
The fly struggled to get free.
The spider wrapped him up in web so he couldn’t see.

As the night turned into morning
The spider could see another day was dawning.
Miss Spider had enough to eat.
Now it is time for her sleep.
