Pirate illustration process
1. Pencil sketch
2. Refined pencils on tracing paper
(Inking with Micron markers on tracing paper not shown)
3. Scanned & cleaned up final linework
4. Flat colors applied to fill areas and lines in Photoshop using Paint Bucket, Pencil tools
(Final artwork shaded in Photoshop with Paint Brush tool - see above)
