And it's so sad to see the world agree
That they'd rather see their faces fill with flies
All when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes
Recently I have been listening to a lot of Neutral Milk Hotel, and I
have fallen in love with their music. As many of you may know, the
album "In The Areoplane Over The Sea" is about Anne Frank.
One song, Holland, 1945, really touched me, and I wanted to take a
photo inspired by it. I was reading her diary in the library and I
noticed that my friend Rachel could help me out with a shoot.
Thanks to Rachel for being my Anne Frank.
Listen to Hollland, 1945 here.
