These two older guys sat quietly together and this was the most animated that I saw them while the music was blasting away. It was only when I moved closer to the band for some shots, and looked back that I realised that they were riding the musical beat with the best of them.

Appalling light, manual AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D...............guess I quite like appalling light.

Conditions were tricky. It was very dark in the bar and outside there was a blinding white light reflected from a building on the opposite side of the street. I opted for my manual focus nifty fifty at ISO 400. Amongst the rubbish I had a few keepers :-)

Hmmm, I've noticed that this was one of the few that I took with my 105mm lens.

Playing this afternoon at the South Anchor, Bondi Beach. Great Blues. I used the 'Vintage' preset on Aperture for this. Not sure that I like it, tho' some might.
