Today was day 2 and it was a lazy day.

There was fighting and TV and reading.

2010 has been uneventful but I think I like it that way.

New Years was always kind of a favorite holiday of mine because you get to start over.

I love a fresh start because usually by the end of the year I've burned my life down and I need to start again.

I have a lot of resolutions. Write something every day. Read. Complete a 365. More that I shouldn't share.

Maybe I set myself up for failure but I really do want to finish it all.

2009 was not a friend. I made my last failed 365 attempt private because I didn't want to look at it anymore. I'm kind of glad I didn't finish it though because I don't want to remember 2009. I moved twice, had to give up my dogs (which still makes me cry), cut off some people, watched terrified as family members bottomed out and went insane or nearly died, and I lost a lot of friends.

I don't want another 2009.
