Had to shoot this one three times 'cause the waves kept hitting the tripod and making it sink during the shot....

      Stunner.

So, did you expose it one EV low? How did you NOT get sky in there? Was this also with a multi-stop neutral density filter on the sky?

      Exposure: 0.5 sec (1/2)
      Aperture: f/22
      Focal Length: 11 mm
      ISO Speed: 200
      Exposure Bias: 1 EV

      Thanks, babylonfive -

This was shot with a 3 stop soft GND (see tags). I was using aperture priority due to the rapidly changing light - usually I shoot fully manual. Whatever EV comp I did (it's been a while, I don't remember), the exposure came out pretty dead-on out of camera. Not sure what you mean by "not getting sky in there" - I see sky!

Wow! All of your shots I've seen so far are amazing! Now if only I could find an ocean in Arizona!! Where do you buy your filters?

Thanks! I get most of my filters from B&H's website or Adorama.

@Spherical - just click on "More Properties" under "Additional Information" to the right ---->

I believe this one was about a half second.
