I happened upon a super deal the other day. I popped in to Radio Shack, a local electronic retail chain store here in the US, to see if they carried the batteries for my camera. I have 2, but thought a 3rd would give me the ability to shoot in Servo AF mode for a whole day without worrying about battery life. No bigger bummer than to run out of batteries when there's something good happening. So not only did they have them, but they were on clearance! So I bought 2! Can't believe it... $50 batteries for only $8 each! Whooohooo!!!! :)
And yesterday I got a new safari hat. It's a Tilley which are super nice. Has mesh in the top which will come in handy when it's 100 degrees.
And I got a backpack to haul water, phone, keys, spare camera bits, and whatever.
Now all I need is a safari jeep with an open top and I'd be set up! (wouldn't that be nice!)
