      Mister: Pits will do that only if you train them do. Similarly as will a german shepherd or labrador. Pits were meant to be trainable, and that they are, and the sweetest, most willing temperament comes with that.

      Edit: I've gotten in the habit of looking at this picture whenever I'm sad. It never fails to cheer me up.

      Mister_ACZ - Not ALL pitbulls have dog aggression. Toby to date has not ONCE demonstrated a single shred of dog aggression, or ANY aggression - period. We treat him like he might always develop it in that we do not ever assume he won't, but we also make sure that he never has a negative experience with another dog and we make sure that we set him up to succeed, and try not to set him up to fail.

      Plus we researched his lineage and made SURE that BOTH parents had rock solid temperments and had their CGCs.

      And artistMD, I loved your edit. Toby just absolutely shines with nothing but pure joy - he's a delight every day. :)
