Big Black Horse

Inspired to post this photo of the white mare and black Arabian gelding from a song I heard today....
Black horse and the Cherry tree.

Stormy, the black Arabian, has eyes for the pretty white mare...Toot. The big black horse shows off his beautiful shaped Arab head by tossing it as they approach each other . Stormy's ears are perked forward with excitement as he and the mare come closer together.

Stormy nickers lyrics of a song...." Hey lady, will you marry me ."
The mare, Toot, tries to tell herself ...."Don't look back...keep on walking".
Stormy nickers again..." Hey lady, will you marry me! "
The mare nickers as she passes him by..." No, no, no, no...no...you're not the one for me !"

Move That Sled

Tidy pig is sitting in the cola sled looking so distinctive in the red coat gleaming on a winter's afternoon.
The pig wiggles his rump and leans back in the sled feeling cozy and relaxed. Tidy pig was about to call out to City bulldog with thoughts of him pulling the sled. The pig is startled by loud barking and hot breath behind him.
City is barking ...in what has been said to be.... constant obnoxious babbling...." Tidy pig get out of there and move that sled ! "

Eye on the Camera

The photographers stood outside the pasture taking photos of this beautiful draft horse mare named Queen.
It's been a tradition the past few years to visit the horses at the farm during all the seasons .
The snowfall had settled with just a few flakes in the breeze but the cold of January made for a challenging photo shoot. The car heaters were on so between checking on the farm and taking photos one could go warm up before going back outside.
Last spring Queen gave birth to a colt named Thor and it's possible she might be in foal again but time will tell.

Her eye is on the camera as I take this photo. The lighting is perfect to capture reflections in her eye.
I'd say her eye might be reflecting the coming of spring and her new foal?
Queen has never showed much with her previous foals so it's wishful thinking on my part and would love to see her give birth to a filly. Fanny Mae was her only daughter and was born two years before Freddy Mac who is the half brother to Thor (colt born last May).
