I lost.
I was hit by a truck while riding my bike in Santa Barbara a couple
days ago. Two broken wrists, two broken collar bones, fingers
dislocated and broken, a bunch of abrasions. They had to cut off my
wedding ring. And if you've never had your clothes cut off by four
nurses, take it from me, it's a real treat.
Out of action for a couple weeks.

yeah, big ouches. i hate hearing about people riding in simple ways, and they get plowed down. thinking of you, though i'm a little late here.
