C365, day 232 - Haberdashery!
Still not very awake but working on some rough sketches... They're a secret for the moment, but they will involve snap fasteners! These vintage lovelies came from my grandmother's stash (complete with original price labels).

I love seeing these old cards. I have some of my Nan's which have old money labels still on them (shillings and pence). Not sure I would use them though? Or even if they would separate!
Good luck with the new ideas.

You're right, they don't separate! I'm so use to being able to use vintage supplies - silly me!
Luckily I have rather fallen in love with the packaging, so I'm going to have to display them somewhere in my house insead and just use modern ones. The snap fastener plan was this:

Lol - Obviously didn't read that one =D
What about looking at proper jewellery findings? I recently made some crochet bracelets and used some of the toggle fasteners from here ... www.spellboundbead.co.uk/category/52/Toggle
Cost a bit more, but would look stunning on your felt bracelets.

Oooh, I never thought of something like that! I opted for elastic in the end, but I may have to investigate those for the future :)

I'm actually a little relieved that you're keeping them just as they are - I LOVE vintage sewing packaging - have lots of it dotted around my sewing room. I love your things!!

Yes, the more I looked at them the more I fell in love with them! :)
