Journey: Phoenix to St. Louis
I made this trip in 2007 when I had recently finished my Peace Corps service and just finished a temporary job in Phoenix and I really had no idea what I wanted to do with myself but I felt OK with that. Along the way I saw the Grand Canyon (got badly sunburned walking along the edge), the UFO museum at Roswell (the museum was OK but I was most amused with the town itself), Carlsbad Caverns (too crowded), the original small town storefront of Walmart (presented completely straight faced) and what has become my most popular photos on flickr (groan) had my car washed by Hooters girls.
