John Muir Trail

    This is the JMT as we approached Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park, day 2 of 19 days and 222 miles of pure wilderness paradise.

    Taken handheld with a Canon Elan 7, Fuji Velvia 50 film, Canon 17-40mm lens; Moose warming polarizer filter.

      Jim, yes, I have about 1.2 gazeeellion more. I think I took around 90 rolls of Velvia on this trek!

      kjell, no Photoshopping here other than matching the original slide. The 17mm wide-angle creates the surreal perspective on the clouds. In reality the peak you see towers high above the meadow, but my lens shrunk it to fit in the pic.
