Photos include some from the collection donated by the late Brigadier Edward F. E. Armstrong, first organiser of the Council for Nature's Conservation Corps, precursor of BTCV, and Alan Brooks during reasearch for BTCV's Practical Handbooks.
Thanks to Robin for volunteering to scan the old 35mm slides and many of the prints. More coming soon.
Also many thanks to Andrew Brown for identifying so many people and places - information sadly lacking on the backs of the prints. And thanks to the Brown family also for scanning, captioning and supplying some truly great images from the 60s and 70s.
