humanity. love. respect.

Three inseparable words from the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in San Francisco's Yerba Buena Gardens:

"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."

"I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality."

"There is nothing in all the world greater than freedom. It is worth paying for; it is worth going to jail for. I would rather die in abject poverty with my convictions than live in inordinate riches with the lack of self-respect."

    I've Been To The Mountaintop

MLK's final speech given April 3, 1968 at Mason Temple in Memphis, TN, the night before he was assassinated.

"...Men, for years now, have been talking about war and peace. But now, no longer can they just talk about it. It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world; it's nonviolence or nonexistence...."

Brad, for about one decade I try to avoid terms like "wrong" or "right".

There are paths, and paths, and paths, . . . to take, to go.

And on those paths I find the right (ha ha!) tools.

I would like to meet you in person as some other people here. I don't start a discussion about "virtual" contacts now . . . I smile.

But (grrr why is there always a but!) internet is a bridge for me, a transition to a real encounter.

Well said, and points well taken. Thank you Henrieke, the feeling is mutual, I hope to cross that virtual bridge and meet you someday "in real life," as well.
