Told you we had snow:))

This was the view from our bedroom - pretty - but getting rather worried now about how long this is going to last. Suffering a bit of cabin fever and really need to go back to normal.

For those of you in the middle of a cold snap - take care and keep warm.

Would love to know what the weather was like in your part of the world today:))

Ps - Newcastle Emlyn our nearest town on the news tonight due to the bad weather - must be bad for a tv crew to come all the way to film here.

Hedd yn y Dyffryn – Peace in the Valley

So it decided at last to snow in our little valley – having seen so many areas covered in the white stuff over Christmas it was rather delightful to see it at last. Very little traffic noise – everyone walking and having the time to pass the day with each other – everything was so peaceful. We spent the day just playing in it, or rather the children did that, whilst I took the pictures. This is the view from our kitchen of an old oak on the other side of the river Teifi, on Carmarthenshire soil.

Have a good week everyone – It’s back to work for me tomorrow.

BLWYDDYN NEWYDD DDA - HAPPY NEW YEAR

The last sun of 2009 is setting over the fields - and not a firework in sight:)))

Been looking at how all the cities all over the world are setting their skies alight to celebrate the new year - and as wonderful as the fireworks look there is nothing to beat a good sun set - this one was taken a while back from Plas Newydd fields.
