One day last winter my wife came home with this box of fruits and vegetables from the produce guy who comes by her salon. It's always a good feeling in the winter to have a stockpike of fresh food.
I made a big pot of soup with the celery and some of the vegetables you can't see in this shot.
Anyway, I'm including the photo here for the same reason I took it: Because it's colorful, and because of the reassuring feeling of plenty that it conveys.
