Old Wick life boat station again. This is such an enigmatic building, quite alien in appearance to me although there's probably many similar out there....Selective colours de-saturated and diffuse glow added!

Bog cotton Isle of SkyeBig clouds over Skye. Off to Ardnamurchan next week so won't be around. Hoping for more big clouds, crashing waves around the lighthouse and had hoped for a visit to Staffa but after checking ferry times, not sure if it's possible. Anyone get any experience of this. Is it do-able from Ockle??

Other summersOk...a break from the fields and a shot from last summer. This was taken on Findhorn beach and I'm out of my comfort zone...no bad thing. I'm really looking for some open and honest critiques. I really like it but then it is my daughter. That besides, it's the sky and the steps leading into the shot that make it for me. It's typical Scottish holiday weather. I was tempted during processing to crop and make Ruth more central to the composition but changed my mind....All feedback welcome!
