This is the first eruption on Fimmvörduháls. The big eruption that is causing the air traffic chaos is nearby, but much much bigger.

The original mother Earth in her pristine glory. After the scars we've inflicted on Her by all the man-made devastations - wars, terror strikes, accidents, natural calamities leading to (mostly) urban deaths - this site, though of a natural rage, almost seems ethereal and beautiful! Mind-boggling... Who cares if it's disrupted flights in the "urban, civilized" world?!!
