okay, for those who didn't know, today is national coming out day. in honor of the day, i decided to be a bit more "out" in my presentation of my self portrait. just in case there was any doubt. and to remind myself of how important it is to be me all the time, everywhere, even when it's not easy or popular or even necessarily safe. a lot of people did it before me; it's my responsibility to pay it forward.

gosh, ;-), i'm laugh'n OUT loud in the LIBRARY, what's that word..oh yeah, fierce!!, then again, men on film might have only 2 snaps for dat..any how, i think my shorts where shorter..daisy duke short, and i actually didn't wear no shoes..some sneaks..and i had a 'huge' fro..

Good for you! It's amazing no matter how out I am in life, I still occasionally meet folks who don't realize I'm gay until several encounters later. It bogles my mind.

Funny how so many people are bothered when it doesn't repaet their stereotypes. THEY're free to dress and look and act any way THEY want to, but long red skirts do only clones make. Uniforms are for disguise, not self-expression.
My personal heresy is to not use the tertm, "coming out" - but to step on a few homophobic toes by saying, "I have been born again." It is, after all, what it feels like to me.
