Weasel is a 10.9% abv imperial stout brewed with Vietnamese ca phe chon coffee (yes, the coffee which has been through the digestive system of the weasel-like civet cats) at the Nøgne Ø brewery in Grimstad, Norway.
The beer poured pitch black with a brown, foamy head. It sported a rich aroma of bitter coffee, cocoa and molasses. The mouthfeel was full bodied with a soft creamy texture. The flavor started out with massive cocoa, coffee and some syrupy sweetness, ending with a nice bitterness and some lingering chocolate.
Weasel is a rich and tasty stout, a great drinking experience. Wonderful!
