A bottle of Oak Aged Yeti from Great Divide Brewing Company in Denver, Colorado.
This 9,5% abv massive imperial stout, like most Great Divide beers, is a mouthful of a beer. It poured thickly into the glass with a pitch black color and a nice brown head. Aroma is huge with roasted malts, sweet malts, dark chocolate and even some vanilla from the oak. The mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Flavor is similarly big and complex, the roasted malt balanced by plenty of sweetness and dark chocolate. Nice long aftertaste with bitter hops and oak flavors lingering.
All in all a great imperial stout. World class.
