Pumori Sunrise

Pumori is a "small" Himalayan mountain of 23,494 ft that sits just to the west of Mount Everest.

The mountain in the foreground (with the winding paths) is Kala Pattar, which is hardly a blip at 18,513 feet.

Mount Everest Base Camp

In March, 2009 I trekked to Mount Everest in the Nepalese Himalaya, as both a personal journey and a fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis, which my father has.

This video clip was taken minutes after we arrived after 10 days of strenuous trekking. Sounds a little sketchy...the day was bleak...but it was one of my happiest moments.
