Hand tinted slide of the rock cut temple built (one of two side by side) by Ramses II, 19th dynasty, (1314-1224 B.C.) honoring the Gods Amun Ra (Amon Re) and Re Horakhte, near Aswan. In 1966 to 1968, they were cut away from the rock face in large pieces, moved to higher ground and reassembled, to save them from the rising water level, due to the Aswan Dam. Collosi statues are 67 feet tall. Near duplicate images found here: oi.uchicago.edu/museum/collections/pa/breaste d/sites.html
