Well first of all...I got to shoot with Alex!! I was sooo excited about it, and he is so sweet...also a really fantastic model. He can play a dead person really well! He reminded me a lot of Christopher Robin...you know, from Whinnie the Pooh...so I have big plans to run away to Georgia and photograph him in the forest in some grand Whinnie the Pooh scene ;-D Here is a group shot of me, Alex, and Brian who also came along to shoot! twitpic.com/7jpmeg
This photo is something I've been thinking of for a very long time. I had originally planned this to have a circle of "Alex bodies" surrounding the couple, but in the end wanted to really show the progression...my concept here was to have a dying man struggling to say goodbye one last time before he left forever. Along with doing this shoot I also brought along a string of paper doll people that I made, each doll getting progressively bigger until they were nearly lifesize. The wind proved to be my ultimate downfall (ripping the dolls apart) and so I sort of scrapped the idea, though I'm still playing with the pics.
Also, its that time of the month...there are a few more days to submit to my contest :) The theme is motion!
