the buoyancy in drowning

Newer Older

This has been a whirlwind week for me, so I'm going to apologize right now if someone out there is reading this angrily because I haven't responded to an email or formspring q - I went on a tour of California with my sister. We were supposed to go to the Grand Canyon, but since I'm not great at driving long distances like that we broke it up into going to Santa Barbara, San Francisco, and Yosemite (starting from LA). It was awesome - the best part was staying in a cabin on the top of a mountain overlooking a valley outside of Yosemite. I had little phone service and internet, just the way I like it when traveling. I love getting away from that world for a while, but I'm always happy to be back in communication with my online family.

Speaking of family, today is my moms 50th birthday :)

And as for this pic...while I was editing I decided on a whim to remove the bubbles and reflection to make it look more like a levitation shot on land, when of course it was shot under water. I was happy to see this turn out so in line with my Ophelia images, which I miss creating so much. I hope all is well with anyone reading...and thank you so much for looking!

This shot is phenomenal Brooke. The movement, the tiny tiny details in the lace, her feet, the pose, everything is spot on and brilliant. It's one of my dreams to meet you one day.

Fascinating. Appreciate the behind the scenes knowledge that it was shot underwater. As a technical dunce I would have simply assumed your model had indeed leviated, LOL.
