Ahh, a workshop picture - taken in NYC this past Sunday. I have another to post tomorrow. This one was more of a struggle to get through because I changed the background from red to blue, but hey, I was determined! I wanted to post this because it features my sister who was one of the models for my NYC workshop. You can read a blog post and see BTS pics here!
I love playing with the idea of book pages coming alive. They fit so well in the the surreal worlds that I like to create. I always had an overactive imagination (correction - there is no such thing as an OVERactive imaginagion) so images like this aren't a stretch for me. I read Dune on the plane ride home and was yet again reminded of the potential of worlds, as well as inspired by the words that will stay with me forever.

Your photographs remind me of Jerry Uelsmann who I took a particular liking to in my high school photo class. They are absolutely beautiful.
