pixie dust

That quote perfectly describes my feelings about my first workshop yesterday. I was beyond excited to meet my group and see what everyone had to offer, and I was nervous too...that I would suddenly forget how to create an image! So I thought it only appropriate to do a Peter Pan picture :-)
It was an absolutely wonderful day from start to finish. I think that we all learned something, and we definitely all had a laugh at some of my odd techniques both in shooting and editing!! :-P I am bursting with excitement for the next one now!

Again, im never disappointed when i come to check you latest photos out! Packed with life, detail and color!! It has everything.
The composition is probably my favorite part though, its very strong and looks wonderful!

@foxofthetrail - it was a line of sand that I threw on her face :) and then I added a little ball of light later on in editing to make it look like a pixie! :-D

Very cool about your workshops! Man I wish I could be there. Two more years til I am in Cali, feels like forever :( This is a beautiful image, a great levitation style shot. I will be shooting later today and I want to try a new levitation pose... something more like this - more amorphous/ anti gravity, than flight. You are splendid and you inspire me to continue on, although your level is insurmountable <3

And i laughed out loud at hte part saying Olivia hates the sand in the face part of modeling...
It is kinda funny but sometimes i feel so bad thinking what i/ we as photographers put models and ourselves through to get a shot. It is part of the excitement and feeling of accomplishment though l i think.
