Thanks Ross, it's one of the reasons why I
love to shoot in the morning. It is a totally
different light altogether. Nobody ever
believes that there is little to no
processing at all in these types of shots but
when you face the morning sun surprising
things happen.

How are you a Pennington and so cool? I need
to get my ass out of bed, but even then I
could never be as awesome as you. This is
sweet, Brooke.

Oh I am sure that Tom has it waiting in the
wings for me. It would be rather pretentious
of me to submit it to such a fine fine
institution on my own behalf.

amazing glow brooke! i used to regularly
sleep in as much as i could... at some point
in time i discovered the morning light and
stillness... my wife thinks i'm crazy now
when i run out the house at 6am on a
saturday... well, she always thought i was
crazy. perhaps more crazy now...

Yeah you are another perfect example of what
you can grab when the light is right, hell
even in outer space :)
I say stay crazy so we can see more shots

Wow, this is a fabulous photo.
I was wondering how you achieved that bokeh
flower. I mean it's like it is a mirror of
the front one although I can see they are
different. Also the stalk on the left, looks
like it has it's own mirror image too. It's a
wonderful effect.

This is just incredible work in every
respect! I would love to learn some of your
tricks of the trade on these types of photos.
You really need to enlarge and frame this.

Good Morning,
This is the first time seeing any of your
photos and my breath has been taken away!
They are so peaceful, calm, and serene.
Wonder capture of joy.
Thank you for sharing

This photo showed up on my iGoogle page this
morning as an "Interesting
Picture." Glad it did! Great light and,
yes, the first few minutes of the morning are
some of the best of the day for photos. I
have rarely missed a sunrise and almost never
regret being there.
