I grew up in Old Fields; this poor house has been through many owners -- I've heard it's hard restoring these old civil war homes. They are so gorgeous.

Laura,

This house and grounds has been completely restored. Over half of the fireplaces have been converted to natural gas, so it has real heat, as well as central air conditioning. The modernizations were done thoughtfully and discreetly, preserving its character.
