my new investment

i bought the brand new macbook pro 15.4 inch LED computer 2 weeks go.
this new series is the simplest, most user-firendly and most "green" computer apple has ever engineered. the trackpad is made out of glass and the body out of aluminum. instead of having multiple internal parts to it like most laptops, it's got a uni-body which is the life of the mac.

the operating system is the brand new leopard os x 10.5 i believe - runs 5 times faster then the previous macbook pro - and its got a much more enhanced graphics chip.

i will do a small still-life shoot for it later after exams.

install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

oh by far it is not a toy - neither is my camera.
ive never ever had a laptop and spend the past 8 years of my life using a PC comouter which was excellent during its first 2 years of use but gradually became slower then the newer comps. editing hundreds of photos on my pc would take twice longer maybe even 5 times longer then on the mac. and when u are operating a web design business, plus photo projects, plus school - u need a machine that will do the job.
this it was time for me to take the net step and invest some money in a design oriented computer - thus the mac.
so.........no, it is not a toy.

let me know what the trackpad is like. I'll probably look to upgrade my 3year old laptop sometime next year, but I really like having a button (does the whole trackpad depress like a button or is it just that 'tap to click' software thing?)

the trackpad is made out of glass - with no mercury - and yes depresses like a button - at first i thought it was a tap until i realized u had to press the whole trackpad. overall i dont like the trackpad so i bought a mouse.
