Mum

My mum has had Alzheimers for several years and has been in a care home for the last two years. She is now confined to a wheelchair and it is deeply, deeply sad to see her going away like this.

My sister came up from London for a quick visit and I took my camera over, initially just to do some family shots. Things started to develop as I stayed on and I started to do a document of the afternoon which I've put on my blog: brianroberts.wordpress.com/

It certainly puts life and Christmas in a very different perspective.

Spent a family day with my sister coming up from London for a quick Christmas visit.

A couple of friends have mentioned this site: www.dayswithmyfather.com/ and I finally got round ti viewing it last night. Very powerful images and got me thinking about where things are at in my life.

We went to visit my mum in her care home and what started off as doing some family shots changed into something a bit more personal and, hopefully, more powerful. I'll be putting them up on my blog shortly.
