This non commercial 'hobby' site, has been evolving and expanding on line since 2001 and is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only.

One can only regret the loss of such Bristol inns as the Angel in Redciffe, the Fourteen Stars in Counterslip and the Old Bush in Corn Street. Their stories have been told many times, but there are also others whose names and associations go back a long way though their present more modern buildings hold little of value for the historian.
