Poolbeg Lighthouse
Poolbeg Lighthouse welcomes visitors from the end of the South Bull Wall in Dublin Harbour. It's a great place for a long bracing walk, and spotting seabirds.
Historically, the Ordinance Survey used the low water mark of the spring tide on the 8th April 1837 at this very point as a standard height for all its maps in Co Dublin: a practice which continued for all OS maps in Ireland right up until 1958.
