Trieste Station

Although these sleepy gentlemen didn't notice, the Trieste Station looks fantastic these days after a recent face lift.

I was def. at this station two years ago...recall it was pretty grubby and the bathrooms quite dismal. Will have to check my travel journal to see if I wrote anything more...

Yeah, it was pretty dumpy for the longest time. Now completely redone, from the big main room above, to a brand new cafe, shops and a nice grocery store. I was quite impressed actually. The entire city's been cleaned up quite a bit over the past 5 yrs or so.
