Corner of Park Ave & Clermont ( I think it was Clermont, I didn't
take notes)
The man on the front porch asked, "Why are you photographing the
house?" I told him I love the old archatecture. He told me it was
built in 1860.

Lovely shot. I was drawn to this photo as I had ancestors that lived in Fort Greene during that period. My great great uncle served in the Civil War then and was born and died in Fort Greene. Thanks.

Wow, renaccc. Thats great ! I love history. It's hard to imagine this house being at the foot of one of the worlds busiest ports with all of the schooners & clippers docked down the street !

Some of my former students live in that corner house. Another group of my kids live in the house next door. The kids in the corner house are amazing artists with wild imaginations. Every time I go by I spin a Roland Dahl story in my head.
