This is another close-up shot taken at a public fountain in Vancouver, Canada.

I like how the the dynamic energy of this shot contrasts to the previous one's quiet symmetry. Makes for a nice pairing, I think.

Fountain Water

Got this shot at a public fountain in Vancouver, Canada, about a year ago, and just re-discovered it when I was digging out the Canada Day photo I posted the other day.

I liked the symmetry of the shot and the color of the metal that contrasts with the water.

Happy Canada Day!

Just wanted to give a shout out to all of you Canadians out there and wish you a great Canada Day!

This photo was taken in Vancouver looking north across Coal Harbour to West Vancouver. That's Stanley Park there with the trees, and if you go far enough north into those mountains you'll come to Whistler, site of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Vancouver is probably my favorite city in North America. What a great place!

This is a night shot of the John Joseph Moakley Federal Courthouse on Fan Pier. It's part of the Boston Harborwalk, which as you can tell from my most recent photos, provides ample opportunities for the intrepid night photographer.
