cambodia4kidsorg  Pro User  says:

Brian, How come you didn't create separate category for the listening tools like google alerts, technorati, radian 6 and other tools to help you with the monitoring ... you can monitor more than just blog conversations. Also, there's the filtering tools - AIDE RSS. I think you need another petal or two - and it might also include RSS readers as a separate category.

Would you put tools like Skype or Google Talk or google apps on this someplace - for "social productivity" ..

Remarkable! So many ways to view these tools, in part based on intention and purpose, and yet you've done a stellar job striking the balance between visual and functional. Not sure how to go about adding in the listening element cambodia4kidsorg noted but I concur it is a critical element. I have every faith you'll come up with a way to integrate it ... Congrats on a beautiful and informative graphic! (and thank you for the creative commons license too).

On "Conversation Prism" v2 definitely add a new petal "Enterprise 2.0 Mashups" or "Team Collaboration" and put it next to the wiki petal. And of course include MindTouch Deki and others. Gartner will be coming out with a its 2008 Magic Quadrant for Team Collaboration and Social Software soon, so that's where you can find the others who fit into this petal.

Thanks!

Where do you think a social network that's focused on custom cars and hot rods would fit? We also have artistic photography and car-focused art and other forms of media. It's www.MyRideisMe.com.

Also, are you suggesting that your contacts should stem from the color your in out to similar colors (social types) first?
