The house, which used to house former Kent faculty member May H. Prentice was moved to help make way for the new University Esplanade, which will connect campus to downtown.

Sixth grader Kentrell Stovall practices his jabs and punches at Good Sheppard Gym on the North side of Akron. He has been boxing at the gym for the past four years and comes to the gym for about 10 hours a week. He counts Floyd Mayweather as his hero, and hopes to be fighting with the big guns when he gets old enough. From watching the way he was pummeling the Everlast heavy bag that day, it isn’t that much to guess he’ll be fighting in the same tier as his hero someday.
