I'm madly impressed with these guys - when I sowed these seeds into this tiny shallow dish in January, I did not expect plants that grew this big, or that I could delay harvesting the baby greens so long. They're doing fabulously, and there's more endive and arugula coming up every day. I plan on snipping the kale tonight to go with some roast chicken, so I had to document for posterity. My carrots are a little droopy because I just couldn't believe they were thirsty. But a quick watering and their subsequent perkiness told me I was wrong.
