Mooning Light

Strong, nearly full moonlight just minutes ago. A bit grainy but I had to shoot it.

The odd thing is that I found a better shadow at 3 AM... but I was up as my daughter needed water... and I was waaay to sleepy to go out in the cold again.

I was too cold to go out -not even willing to open a window and stick my camera out- but I considered it! Oak tree was throwing great shadows in the moonlight on the snow.

I didn't have to even leave to get this shot.... looked right out the office window and there it was... this is still a good time of the year for shadows before the leaves pop on the North Shore. I think we missed the last full moon though...
