I like it! The "@" looks a little out of place. I'd shrink a little. Nice work.

I like this alot. The vector swirl artwork you have with the title is great. Worshippers are screened in the background very tastefully. Great debut piece, looking forward to more submissions from you!

I would avoid adding tight drop shadows behind text at all costs. Other than that it is shaping up to be an attractive piece.

This a beautiful piece- great job! I agree with phil, the @ symbol would look better if it were smaller. It is the first thing my eye is drawn to when I look at the poster.

I would try a bolder smaller font style for the date and time. I like the piece over all but it has a bit of a Natzi feel to it. The worshipers in the back groud made me look twice I thought they were doing the natzi Hitler salute at first glance. Especially the guy with the german officer's uniform on. ( I know it's not really but it looks like it to me) AM I CRAZY???? (don't answer that!)

Nazi?! No way. This is great...completely anti-nazi. I agree with the others about the "@" sign, but other than that, this is a great piece; especially for your first submission! :) Keep it up!

This has some good beginnings. The title is fantastic, I think it looks good. The rays...I don't know, I'm just seeing it on EVERYTHING lately it's like this generations answer to the dove. :)

I don't think the pictures add anything and getting rid of them might clean up the balance of the piece a bit. I certainly agree that the 'info' font needs to be reworked.

While _we_ see rays on everything, I'm not sure if it is overdone, especially in FIM (Faith Inspired Media).

I've used it very carefully with 6 of the 10 congregations I'm now serving through VIPMinistry.com, and all of them liked the "power" of it. Usually Holy Spirit related (like the dove, ha!). But for now I'm not sure that it is over-used, we just see it a lot more because we see so many graphics.

Just like drop shadows (and reverb, in music), the rays will have a long lifespan if not abused.

This is a great start. The top title is really strong, but it loses a lot as you work towards the bottom. As suggested above, work on some of the typography for the date and other information.

Dave said exactly what I would say. I love the top... but it loses the edge working toward the bottom.

why not use a slice of the black vector image on the bottom creatively, the strength of the piece is the top (agreed) reusing a piece of that in a corner or across borrom, may balance real well and provide a perfect place for text/info to stand out. its a great piece...
